To support business-critical workloads, Concero has multiple cloud computing “origins” in Canada. These origins are independent of each other except for secure network connection between them used for administrative and replication traffic between the origins. These geo-diverse origins are used for active/warm and active/active disaster recovery solutions. Which type of disaster recovery solution is implemented depends on your business requirements in terms budget, recovery time and recovery point objectives, and the technical limitation imposed by the type of applications being hosted.

For business-critical website, Concero typically implements active/active disaster recovery solutions using global traffic management services.  For backup office applications, Zerto disaster recovery technology is typically used to maintain a near-real time copy of the primary cloud environment at a secondary cloud origin.  Zerto also allows for disaster recovery failover and failback processes to be automated and for disaster recovery testing to occur without disrupting either the production or disaster recovery environments.
